undefined

RICHMOND, INDIANA and FRANKFORT, INDIANA — First Bank Richmond and The Farmers Bank announced today that, pending shareholder and regulatory approval, the combined organization will operate under the name First Bank Midwest. The new name and official logo are being unveiled as part of this announcement.

The combined organization will include all locations of First Bank Richmond, The Farmers Bank, and Mutual Federal, a division of First Bank Richmond, creating a network of 26 full-service banking offices across Indiana and Ohio.

Beginning July 1, 2026, the new name will be introduced, with branding updates occurring in phases. For our customers, there are no immediate changes. Their accounts, services, locations, and the people they work with remain the same. As we move forward, any updates will be communicated clearly and designed to enhance the overall banking experience.

First Bank Midwest will continue to operate under the parent company Richmond Mutual Bancorporation, Inc. (NASDAQ: RMBI), headquartered in Richmond, Indiana, with the bank headquartered in Frankfort, Indiana.

“Our focus remains on delivering the same local service and strong relationships our customers expect,” said Garry Kleer, Chairman & CEO of First Bank Richmond. “This merger strengthens our ability to serve our communities while maintaining the personal approach that defines community banking.”

Customers will receive additional updates as the transition progresses over the coming months.
