Richmond, Indiana – First Bank Richmond announced today that they will donate $5,000 to Mainstreet Centerville. Main Street Centerville mission is to enrich the Town of Centerville, Indiana through economic development, redevelopment, and beautification initiatives. They will help educate others on the history, architecture, and vitality of the businesses and residents. Their overall goal is to foster downtown revitalization by renewing and restoring the downtown area to its former prominence as the center of community activity. The contribution will be applied to a bench project and sponsorship of their Christmas in Centerville event.

“Main Street Centerville would like to thank First Bank Richmond for their on-going support of our community! First Bank believes in projects and activities that improve the quality of life for the communities that they serve. And with that, they have recently granted funds to Main Street Centerville (MSC) that will be used to purchase 4 beautiful benches for our downtown main street area and sponsor this year’s Christmas in Centerville festival! MSC is grateful that First Bank believes in “Doing Great Things Together!” - Kyle Turner, Main Street Centerville Board Member
