RECEPTIONIST

Department:  Secretarial

Reports to:  Secretarial Department Supervisor

Summary:  Answer and forward incoming phone calls and serve customers by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately

Location:  Banking Center

Average Hours/Week:  40 hours

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer service skills; vibrant and dynamic outlook on customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills.
  • Calming, reassuring demeanor.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Basic clerical skills including working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Good organizational skills and self-starter.
  • Ability to be attentive and alert.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Answer and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Serve customers by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious persons or activities within lobby area or on camera monitors.
  • Issue visitor passes.
  • Review invoices of Bank expenses for use tax purposes and prepare monthly reports that document any unpaid sales tax.
  • Assist employees with scheduling meetings on internal meeting location calendar.
  • Sign out company vehicles for employees.
  • Prepare shipping labels for FedEx packages.
  • Prepare certified envelopes.
  • Communicate to employees when the Bank receives free tickets to community events.
  • Assist branch personnel with unlocking and locking entry doors at time of opening and closing as requested.
  • Participate in community involvement.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

LOAN ORIGINATOR

Department:  Retail Lending Department

Reports to:  Sr. Vice President/Retail Lending

Summary:  Generate mortgage loan application referrals through business development calls on builders, realtors, CPA’s, etc. Originate mortgage loan applications from potential home buyers or those who desire to refinance the current mortgage, as well as, applications for HELOC’s, second mortgages, car loans, secured loans and unsecured loans.

Location:  Financial Center/Richmond, IN

Average Hours/Week:  40 hours

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or related experience.
  • Two to four years’ experience in a financial institution or loan office with loan origination experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of bank policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Good sales, organizational, managerial and interpersonal skills, particularly in working with documentation that requires special or confidential handling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand a personal tax return/personal financial statement preferred.
  • An understanding of mortgage lending/secondary market lending preferred.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Counsel residential mortgage applicants on their needs and assist them in selecting the best products to meet their needs.
  • Review 1st and 2nd mortgage applications for processing, credit reports and other information needed on loan applications, following TRID and verifying compliance.
  • Review and analyze income information and follow guidelines/procedures.
  • Follow through on applications in process and facilitate timely closings.
  • Provide referral sources with up-to-date information on any new mortgage products or changes to pre-existing policies and products.
  • Cross sell other bank services.
  • Handle inquiries from applicants and branch personnel. Resolve/document customer complaints.
  • Service needs to existing customers.
  • Make suggestions to the Retail Lending Department Manager on what realtors/customers are requesting in our market area.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE/PART-TIME

Department:  Retail Branches

Reports to:  Asst. Branch Manager

Summary:  Provide a variety of customer transactions, as well as process customer requests.

Location:  200 W. Main St., Cambridge City, IN 47327

Average Hours/Week:  15-19 hours

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Cashing handling experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills.
  • Basic clerical skills including working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to proactively solicit new business.
  • Physical requirement:  May be required to stand for periods of time and may be required to lift bags/boxes of coin weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Process customer financial transactions.
  • Assist with customer inquiries.
  • Maintain knowledge of teller policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and balance cash drawer.
  • Promote and cross-sell the Bank’s products and services.
  • Build and maintain a portfolio through Sales Management.
  • Achieve and maintain 80% of individual sales goal.
  • Participate in community involvement.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

BRANCH MANAGER - Northside

Department:  Retail Branches

Reports to:  Regional Branch Administrator

Summary:  Manage and administer overall branch operations and profitability of the branch.

Location:  2499 Chester Blvd., Richmond, IN

Average hours/week:  Approx. 40 hours

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Two to five years experience in a financial institution preferred.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • New accounts and IRA experience preferred.
  • Strong business development skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to supervise, monitor and evaluate the work of others.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall branch office operations.
  • Manage profitability of the branch.
  • Promote business development and participate in officer calling program.
  • Promote and cross-sell the bank’s products and services and participate in Sales Program.
  • Achieve individual and branch sales goals through new business, referrals and retention of account relationships.
  • Motivate and coach staff to promote sales goals and objectives.
  • Develop new deposit and loan business.
  • Review branch staff for performance evaluations and approve salary recommendations.
  • Maintain knowledge of branch policies and procedures.
  • Manage customer problems/complaints; counsel customers with special needs or requests.
  • Build and maintain a portfolio through Sales Management.
  • Provide leadership, training and supervision to staff through coaching, branch sales and operations meetings.
  • Participate in community involvement.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Branch location:  Float Staff/Wayne County branches

Average hours/week:  Approx. 40 hours

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Cashing handling experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills.
  • Basic clerical skills including working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to proactively solicit new business.
