CREDIT ANALYST

Department:  Commercial Credit Administration

Reports to:  Credit Department Manager

Summary:  Evaluates the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with the Bank.

Location:  Financial Center

Average Hours/Week:  40 hours

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting or related credit analyst experience.
  • Good financial analytical abilities.
  • Ability to research and evaluate data to make informed decisions and problem solve.
  • Sense of discretion to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Analyze loan data on new, renewal, and existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other financial institutions, tax returns, financial statements, and Bank files.  
  • Prepare spreadsheets, reports, summaries, and credit write-ups for loan officers on new, renewal, and existing loans.
  • Evaluate the financial status of customers by producing financial calculations and ratios through financial software.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of the Bank’s lending policies and procedures and identify exceptions to policy.
  • Perform credit inquiries for the Bank as requested.
  • Evaluate borrowing base information and report exceptions.
  • Perform loan covenant testing, tracking, and reporting.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to loan officers as needed.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

IMAGE PROCESSOR

Department:  Image Processing

Summary:  Scans documents, processes lockbox, assists with inventory and ordering of supplies, assists with check and document retention/destruction.

Location:  20 N. 9th Street, Richmond, IN 47374

Average Hours/Week:  40 hours, Monday thru Thursday 9am – 6pm, Friday 9:45am – 6:45pm

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good technical knowledge and computer operations experience.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Good data entry skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • General understanding of record retention.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Balance checks and teller documents.
  • Process and balance Remote Deposit Capture items.
  • Scan documents into Vision Content.
  • Upload cash letters to the Federal Reserve.
  • Download in-clearing files from the Federal Reserve.
  • Transmit posting files to our core processor. 
  • Sort and store checks and teller documents from the branches.
  • Assist with check and document retention/destruction.
  • Process Canadian Check cash letters.
  • Process Lockbox.
  • Act as backup for supply ordering.
  • Research items as requested by other departments.
  • Assist with inventory and disbursement of official checks.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

BRANCH MANAGER/EASTSIDE

Department:  Retail Branches

Reports to:  Regional Branch Administrator

Summary:  Manage and administer overall branch operations and profitability of the branch.

Location:  3403 E. Main Street, Richmond, IN 47374

Average hours/week:  Approx. 40 hours   

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Two to five years’ experience in a financial institution preferred.
  • Two to five years’ experience in Management experience.
  • New accounts and IRA experience preferred.
  • Loan experience preferred.
  • Strong business development skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to supervise, monitor and evaluate the work of others.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall branch office operations.
  • Manage profitability of the branch.
  • Conduct outside business development calls which includes prospecting, retention and growth of business customers.
  • Promote and cross-sell the bank’s products and services.
  • Achieve individual and branch sales goals through new business, referrals and retention of account relationships.
  • Handle customer requests regarding lending needs.
  • Develop and train staff to successfully perform job responsibilities and advance their career within the bank. 
  • Review branch staff for performance evaluations and approve salary recommendations.
  • Maintain knowledge of branch policies and procedures.
  • Manage customer problems/complaints; counsel customers with special needs or requests.
  • Provide leadership, training and supervision to staff through coaching, branch sales and operations meetings.
  • Participate in community involvement.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Department:  Retail Branches

Summary:  Provide a variety of customer transactions, as well as process customer requests.

Branch location:  Float Staff/Wayne County branches

Average hours/week:  Approx. 40 hours

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Cashing handling experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills.
  • Basic clerical skills including working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to proactively solicit new business.
  • Physical requirement: May be required to stand for periods of time and may be required to lift bags/boxes of coin weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Process customer financial transactions.
  • Assist with customer inquiries.
  • Maintain knowledge of teller policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and balance cash drawer.
  • Promote and cross-sell the Bank’s products and services.
  • Build and maintain a portfolio through Sales Management.
  • Achieve and maintain 80% of individual sales goal.
  • Participate in community involvement.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
